Travis Dowd joined the Davie team in 2025 as Vice-President, NSS Governance and Capture Development. In this role, he leads the capture of strategic opportunities across Davie Group, tailoring business objectives to client needs to drive growth and deliver innovative solutions. He is also responsible for Davie’s National Shipbuilding Strategy (NSS) governance, ensuring that the company’s activities remain aligned with national priorities and strategic objectives. With over 20 years’ experience in the defence industry, Travis has demonstrated the ability to distill complexity into simplicity—translating strategic objectives into clear, actionable plans that drive results and meet stakeholder needs. He holds a Master of Project Management from Carleton University and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing Management (MBA MKTMGT) from the Australian Institute of Business. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed executive training at Harvard Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
