Ron Pearson has been VP, Engineering since 2015. He has provided design and engineering leadership on key projects such as the first LNG powered ferry to be built in North America. Prior to joining Davie, Ron was Shell’s Project Site Lead on three Arctic rig upgrade projects in the Pacific Northwest, Korea and Singapore. Before that, Ron was a primary contributor in the development of a new class of diesel-electric platform supply vessels in the Gulf of Mexico. Ron had a 15-year career in naval ship design including the Canadian Patrol Frigate program. Ron is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering.
